I only just found out about this album and just purchased it:

His Reggae album from 1980, produced by Lloyd Charmers.

A pleasant album sounding like a cross between Bob Marley and The Police. Lloyd Charmers very obvious in the background vocals.

Backing by the Reggae Philharmonic Orchestra, with backing female vocals sounding quite I Threeish.

Quite listenable.

That's completely passed me by as well - doesn't quite sound like my Tasse Tee though...

I suppose it would be easy to miss, as it wasn't in his main era of (ahem) fame.

I quite liked his material until he teamed up with Alan Price and did the lamentable 'Rosetta' Mad His covers of 'Sunny' and 'Sitting In The Park' bear favourable comparisons with the originals IMHO.

Yes indeed, ROSETTA (are you better, are you well, well, well?) was pretty dire then and time hasn't been kind to it.

"The Price Of Fame" and "Fame At Any Price" were a couple of their collaborative albums, weren't they?
