I know it well mate. I'm in Hockley - trust the wife to move us somewhere posh. I said to her 'Wickford, Westcliff, Chalkwell, Prittlewell or Southend' and we didn't end up in any of those Rolling Eyes

That's how the system works, Marc Confused

My wife wants to move "somewhere warm", which really means "Northern Cyprus", where her older sister and bro-in-law and nephew live (west of Girne/Kyrenia)...and her best friend lives in the eastern pointy bit, near Dipkarpaz.

While it's a beautiful region, you won't get me moving there...ever. Nice to have had a holiday there though.

It's too bloody hot in the summer! And, it's a pain in the arse to leave the island, if you're sailing! Dear lord, the amount of political shite you have to endure, just to get your silly visa, if you're going from Cyprus, to Northern Cyprus....or one of the other Muslim nations, nearby....

Food is great, though! And, the wine.....cheap, and great! Cool
If I were to retire to someplace warm, from the UK....I'd head to Bermuda. It's easier to move there, there's always something to do, somewhere on the islands, and if you get the notion, a cheap flight to the USA can be had, at certain times of the year....

Best of all, men looking smashing dressed in the native style.....

Cool
