I just got done looking at everyone's lists, again, and I'm left feeling I need the following:

Doreen Scheafer (sic) ~ SUGER SUGAR / VERSION ("Fattie Fattie"/"Ram Jam" rhythm) (Studio 1)
Granville Williams Orchestra ~ WAILIN' / OLD MACDONALD (G.W.O. Records)
Bobby Aitken & the Carib Beats ~ ORANGE STREET SPECIAL / Glen & Lloyd ~ RUDIES GIVE UP (Gay Feet)
Termites ~ WE GONNA MAKE IT / Ethiopians ~ WE GONNA BE FREE (Merritone)

The Invaders - Hell And Heaven (Roots Int)
Conscious Minds - Hotter The Battle (Soul Beat)

Blackstones - Babylon Trap Them (UK Derrick)
Charlie Organaire - Bad Boy Charlie
Joe White - Baby I Care (UK Big)

Soul brothers-freedom sounds-studio one

Just when I got my records wants list whittled down, too..... Laughing
Ta, lads! Wink

Good wants, of course, but I wouldn't spend too much time worrying about not having the Granville Williams Orchestra's OLD MCDONALD (it was nearly a deal-breaker for me, but WAILIN' swayed it)

This is the SUGAR SUGAR I picked up (she re-visited it with the later Skatalites)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLSqjXbqVd0

Sounds (by the mix) like a mid-70s recording...can anyone clarify?

I think it's from 1978/79.

"Old McDonald" is a fun tune, but since I already have it on the "Reggae for Kids" box set, and I'm indifferent about it....I agree.....I won't worry too much about not having a vinyl copy......Now, "Wailin'", is another matter altogether!

I don't mind the later 70's redo.....But, I'd rather have the original version, from the '60's, of "Sugar Sugar"..... Smile

I haven't rinsed any of my tunes yet, but am working (a little at a time) on getting my decks accessible Confused

I bet if you were to go get a few bottles of Doom Bar, or Fuller's you might be able to convince a few faces to show up, and lend a hand....Just don't wind up like I did, and get too drunk to do anything, but fall asleep in the comfy chair.....I have the same problem fishing, too....Only sub the comfy chair, for a comfy chair on land, or in a boat..... I have a comfy chair up there...good idea to tempt some with Doom Bar, but there's no room for anyone else.
