I doubt it Confused

When we leave, the likes of Macca and the leather-necked "Peter Pan" of Pop leave with us...

Interesting. I had been under the impression, the "70 Year Rule" only applied to a few acts, like the Beatles, etc..... Confused

I guess we'll have to wait another 20 years, for more sets of Blue Beat to get released, again! I hope I'm still here to complete that collection! While some of us, might not remember we wanted those sets! Laughing

Doubt it.

I have a good number on other albums etc. and don't remember much of a clunk factor at all.

Aye. Not a clunker. IINM, all of the singles included on this set, are also included on those recent "The Story of Blue Beat" offerings from Sunrise. A few are on those "The Story of Blue Beat" sets, from Not Now/One Day Music.....This Dynamite! LP, is an easier way to get your Buster fix, though....Sound quality should be good, too. At least it is, on my LP's from Dynamite! Wink

Good to know
I have been wanting to pick up The Story of Blue Beat cds for a while Very Happy

There were two outfits doing the story of Blue beat.

I bought the 6 that were on Sunrise (Phil was involved with that)

I don't recall the other series, but I believe (from what I'd read) that I was pleased I bought the series I did.

Sunrise is the one to go after. You get better liner notes, and more music to go along with each and every 45. The One Day/Not Now sets are a cheaper alternative. Or they were when I got them....But, all you get with those, is each 45 -and nothing else- in chronological order, and liners that leave much to be desired.

The sound quality, overall, is excellent, with those OD/NN sets. Smile

Thanks for the reminder, Seth - if my One Day/Not Now CDs are any guide, the liner notes are minimal at best.

Standard protocol for the majority of those sets. Individual artist offerings, have better liners. But, not by much. Wink
