Just seen a post on FB from Tony Weller (Martin's bro) That Frankie Paul has passed away...

No "RIP" in the title until confirmed...but let's hope not. (edit Confirmed Sad )

I do recall reading about him being in poor health a while back.

Yes - there's a post on Pama saying that he's passed, and it seems highly likely. By the looks of recent images, he was in a dreadful way, so a merciful release and no more to suffer at least. RIP Frankie Crying or Very Sad

I've just started getting into his back catalogue, too.....A talented fellow.

Very sad. Whilst Frankie was phenomenally prolific, he did cut some great tracks (IMHO).

RIP Frankie.

R.I.P. Frankie...

One of those select few singers where I could enjoy everything he did just because that voice was so great.

I have hardly any Frankie Paul on vinyl, but did play KISSING IN THE DARK from the "Sara" LP at last night's session.

...as Marc mentioned, seems like a merciful release...

Time to have a listen to some of his stuff.

RIP

I wonder who's going to pay that!

I was thinking more about if they continue a treatment if they don't get paid, or do they stop at some point? Pay or die... Neutral

I am more than sure, they have to keep treating them.....They take an oath for a reason. If they renege on it, bad things can happen to those in the medical field.....Or more aptly put: Bad things, are supposed to happen, to them.

The mother in law of a good friend of mine, racked up a BIG debt, millions of dollars, with no way to pay it.....She later died of her illness, so the debt, gets passed on, to an entity, that pays all, or a portion of it, in order to get tax subsidies, from the US government.

In Britain the $1.4 million is about 8,500.00, people pay more for dental implants Exclamation
RIP Frankie: does anyone remember `Shub In' on Trojan?

I recall reading that "Shub in" is "shebeen" (a drinking den)...
