In any show, there'll always be a few tunes that don't "click" - that's the beauty of having different preferences to the next bloke.
Aye, aye! Wink

Thanks for the feedback guys - much appreciated and all taken on board.

It's myself narrating, and there's myself and a mate who select the records. The format of 20 min segments with regular features in between started at the beginning of this year (before that it was a straight 120 minutes of music) and we're open to evolution and seeing how the show develops.

A set list is something we've thought about, but we DJ on the live circuit a fair bit & are reluctant to give away some of our rarer secret weapons (harking back to the old 60's sound system days of scratching off the names of artists/song titles) !! It's something we're trying to find a solution to as we've been asked a few times for a set list...

As you've probably guessed it's a monthly show (1st Tuesday) so I'll keep posting the latest shows on here for you all until you've had enough.

Thanks again! Very Happy
Nothing wrong with mixing it up, to try new things......As for your being our faithful narrator, Dan.....You do a fantastic job. You can tell, you're having fun, sharing your knowledge, which makes it fun, for the listener.

As for keeping your secret weapons, secret......If you decide to post a set list, I'd post the names, of the more "common" tunes, and for the rare stuff, you could post something funny about it being, "Classified", or "We are Unable to Identify this Record, thanks to the Theatres Act, of 1843".....Something like that. Mr. Green

If one is serious about that tune, I'd think they'd take the time, to send an email..... Wink

Looking forward, to the next show! Smile

Less than 40 to go, and I'm dreading it. It's been a wonderful show, thus far! Lots of tunes, I haven't heard in yonks! Some, I'd completely forgotten about! Loved the King Tubby, and Augustus Pablo segments! Cool Cool Cool

My pleasure, Dan. Your show's always well worth, the listen. I can only hope/imagine how many people have been turned onto Reggae, or have gotten to hear some new tunes, by listening in.....Since, that's what your digi segment did for me, as Digi Reggae's not my thing, by and large, much less, to seek out. But, the format, made it easy to digest, and it's nice to know, there are a few digi Reggae tunes, I can at least, listen to. Well done, squire! Wink
