It's this:

Your heartbeat is triggered by electrical impulses that travel down a special pathway through your heart

SA node (sinoatrial node) – known as the heart’s natural pacemaker, the impulse starts in a small bundle of specialized cells located in the right atrium, called the SA node. The electrical activity spreads through the walls of the atria and causes them to contract. This forces blood into the ventricles. The SA node sets the rate and rhythm of your heartbeat. Normal heart rhythm is often called normal sinus rhythm because the SA (sinus) node fires regularly

AV node (atrioventricular node) - the AV node is a cluster of cells in the centre of the heart between the atria and ventricles, and acts like a gate that slows the electrical signal before it enters the ventricles. This delay gives the atria time to contract before the ventricles do

His-Purkinje Network - this pathway of fibres sends the impulse to the muscular walls of the ventricles and causes them to contract. This forces blood out of the heart to the lungs and body

The SA node fires another impulse and the cycle begins again

Happy New Year!

Cool

Thank you sir ! Nothing like some good (c)old science to smash a (poor) attempt at poetry... Very Happy

Let me rephrase it then "...whatever makes the muscle movement triggered by electrical impulses that travel down a special pathway through your heart worth it" ! Very Happy

You're welcome, very glad you liked them ! I don't have much time this year unfortunately (new profession + studies), but plenty ideas... Will do more as soon as I can.

When I started collecting Reggae back in 1970, I never dreamt that the company would still be around to celebrate its 50th anniversary.

For a while in the mid 1970s, it didn't look as though they'd make it to their 10th anniversary!

Their longevity is all down to the sterling work from Laurence and Chris Prete, and all those who went before them.

Hey all,

I hope to have a grand 2018.....It seems that there will be, quite a bit, of excitement, at the museum, I'm working at, and with Trojan. And, I couldn't agree more, about Saints, this year.....Dreadful football....At least the memories, of the past 5 seasons, are with us, to warm the heart.

And, for me....Man U, isn't #1. Though, Man City, isn't that BIG, of an improvement..... Rolling Eyes

Along with Trojan, Reggae-wise, I'm looking forward, to a plethora of quality releases, that seem to be headed our way, from a smattering of labels.

It doesn't seem, Ernie B, will be there, to flog them, though.....It's already been mentioned, he seems to be winding things, down. And, indeed, it seems he is.....I had over $1,000 worth a merchandise, saved in a cart. Now, I have $0, as everything is now "OOS".... Rolling Eyes

I did manage, to score a super cheap copy, of "Scandal Ska", and as soon as I can give it, a proper rinse, I'll finally write a review, after a months long, hiatus, from doing so! Surprised

FWIW, I didn't imbibe in anything boozy, at all NYE. I was too cream crackered, to do anything, but go to bed, at 0505 GMT.

Lee-Jackson Day, will soon be upon us, in Virginia.....I'd crack that OBH Imperial Stout open, but neither of them, condoned drinking, IIRC......Stonewall had barrels of beer smashed, for some reason.....Now, that's just, alcohol abuse. Crying or Very Sad

I'm proud to say, I was able to partake in the 25th, 30th, 35th, & 40th anniversaries.....Now, that said.....What happened for the 45th? I can't recall anything. Confused

Respect, for LC-H, Chris, and all the others, who helped keep the ship, afloat.....All these years. I'm looking forward, to another 50, and may still be around, for the 100th....Though, I'll probably be, too senile, to know what's going on..... Wink
