London Intl Ska Festival world famous valve soundclash V

starring
AXIS VALV-A-TRON vs SOUNDS & PRESSURE LO-FI

For the fifth year running we are delighted to once again be hosting the world exclusive valve soundclash featuring the two beautiful all valve sound systems operated and had built by two of the UK's finest JA music connoisseurs Paul Axis (Axis Valv-a-tron Sound System.) and Phil Bush (Sounds & Pressure lo-fi).

This truly is one of the highlights of The London Intl Ska Festival every year and doesn't happen anywhere else in the world. If you're a lover of Jamaican music or sound system culture you really have to come and listen for yourself.

Got "the Germans" (6 of 'em) visiting for a week from Easter Saturday...a sound clash wouldn't be for them, I fear.

Very Happy

...or even, "Fuer Sie/ihr ist das Soundclash vorbei!"

I remember when my pal Ferdi (RIP) retired, we paid a surprise visit for his end-of-work party in June 1995.

One of the presents we bought him was a glass tankard, upon which I'd had etched "Fuer dich ist der Arbeitskrieg vorbei" (For you the work war is over"...he liked a chuckle, but hardly knew a word of English, but thought it hilarious!

The German in me, found this, rather amusing. The humour, plus, I can see Pvt.Pike, dressed as a Wehrmacht officer, saying: "Fuer dich ist der Arbeitskrieg vorbei"! Mr. Green Very Happy
