Peter Wyngarde who is best known for playing Jason King. Sadly passed away on January 15.

I remember first watching Jason King in 1975 and 1976 when it was repeated on ITV.

Over many years i have seen Peter Wyngarde in many films and tv shows, such as The Saint, The Avengers, and The Prisoner.

R.I.P. Peter Wyngarde

Whenever I hear the name "Peter Wyngarde", I always think of IS VIC THERE?, having first come across this actor-with-a-fascinating-tash in "Department S" and of course, "Jason King" soon after.

No particular thoughts although Tony Rounce mentioned on FB that he (PW) was obnoxious to him (TR) when they met, for no good reason at all.

I don't really feel any particular way about his passing - I don't recall the shows and can well imagine him being a prima donna character, which I think reflects in Tony's experience. And as for his singing Rolling Eyes

Mr. Green

I wonder if he was obnoxious, to Rouncey, due to his being grumpy, at no longer having hair anymore, and looking like, Uncle Fester? Wink
