Nope - that's purely down to LC-H.

I've recently become an editor on RKR, and I'm now trying to bring 45cat closely in line with RKR, and vice versa.

Should be finished by around 2050.

Another great evening at the Fox & Hounds in Caversham - the place was at worst, crowded, at best packed. Just Pete and myself running the tunes, going one-for-one most of the time, but each of us doing a 30-minute solo spot (so that the other could have a “nice sit down”!) - Pete’s set was UK production, while I thought some popular 80s tunes might do the trick.

Martin was remembered with some Roots tunes (as usual) and it was smashing to see his Mum Pamela there again.

The session was recorded, although that wasn’t without its trials getting it going, and will be up on Mixcloud once I’ve tweaked what needs tweaking!

Pete will be be along with the full playlist before long, so in the meantime, here are the tunes I “delivered” - starting with something a little different as always:
    i) Eric Barnett ~ BUMPER TO BUMPER (UK Gas)
ii) Slim Smith ~ EVERYBODY NEEDS LOVE (JA blank)
iii) Samuel the First ~ SOUNDS OF BABYLON (UK Summit)
iv) Don Drummond ~ DRAGON WEAPON (Pyramid R)
    v) Justin Hinds & the Dominoes ~ MOTHER BANNER (UK Ska Beat)
vi) Joe Gibbs etc. ~ HIJACKED (UK Amalgamated)
vii) Johnny Clarke ~ NO WOMAN NO CRY (UK Grounation)
viii) Ethiopians ~ MEK YOU GO ON SO (UK Duke)
ix) Augustus Pablo ~ DUB ORGANISER (UK Tropical)
    x) Sir Lord Comic ~ RHYTHM REBELLION (UK Bamboo)
xi) Little Roy ~ SCROOGE (UK Camel)
xii) Thunderball ~ MY TWENTY EIGHT (UK Trojan)
xiii) Mighty Howard ~ RUN FROM DI THUNDER (Planet Dread R)
xiv) Heptones ~ NATURAL MYSTIC (US Channel 1 R)
xv) Lynn Taitt & the Jets ~ NAPOLEON SOLO (UK Island)
xvi) Tommy McCook ~ ROAD BLOCK (Port-O-Jam R)
xvii) Charlotte ~ BANAKE (UK Real Authentic Sound of Studio One 12”)
xviii) iNi Kamoze ~ WORLD A MUSIC (JA Taxi R)
xix) Freddy Roy ~ GOT TO FIND A WAY (FJ Records 12”)
xx) Black Uhuru ~ THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY (UK RAS)
xxi) King Kong ~ PARO THEM PARO (UK Greensleeves 12”)
xxii) Tenor Saw ~ RING THE ALARM (JA Techniques R)
xxiii) Viceroys ~ HEART MADE OF STONE (Taxi 12” R)
xxiv) Bunny Brissett ~ BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY (Message R)
xxv) Winston Samuels ~ LICKET FORWARD (UK Tops Record)
xxvi) Cimmaron Kid with the Cimmarons ~ BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK (UK Reggae)
xxvii) Dave Barker ~ SMOOTHS AND SORTS (UK Rhino)
xxviii) John Holt ~ A LITTLE LOVE (UK Blue Beat)

Thanks Andy Cool

You'll see it in its proper context and glory with Pet's top-drawer tunes when he posts the full set list up (later on?).

Great selection Joe Cool Particularly pleased to see 'Licket Forward', a most uplifting tune, in there.
