Good find on that Millions' 45 Joe - that's become quite in-demand.
Serendipitous, Marc - just happened across it in the second box of about 200 singles...there were 5 such boxes of Reggae, but I didn't have the time or inclination to go through them all.

Cost me 7.50.

All of those singles I bought were in thick white cardboard sleeves (the Soul ones were a pound a throw) and the JA ones also had a clear thick plastic sleeve with the price stuck on.

I'm not her biggest fan, but like some songs - a later check of my database revealed that I didn't have "DOOB..." at all, so I'm pleased to have it now Wink

Blimey Joe - shame it's not just up the road! Mind you, Crazy Beat probably has about 20 boxes but 70% is all `90s and 2000s.

Fortunately these were mostly 70s, there were a few Blue Beats in there, as well as early Islands.

Labels like Ethnic Fight, some Magnets, some re-presses all abounded, but aside from 1 or 2 Pama Supremes, I don't recall much from the Pama "family" of labels.

Joe,Excellent haul of vinyl purchases. Cool
Thanks, Colin.

The Soul singles cost me a quid each (one reason I only bought 10 is because I was unsure of the sound quality and didn't want to go full tilt and then find I'd landed a bunch of bacon sizzlers!) and the sound quality is a bit half and half on several - although worth a quid - and pretty good on the others - especially the excellent SAM STONE - a tune I recognised by title, but couldn't place...for a quid it was worth a punt.

The copy of MURMURING isn't that good quality as my other copy - the A side is probably worse, but the B side is better!

Some great pieces there, Colin.

I remember buying the Tony Clarke circa 1975 when it come on a Chess moulded label reissue (with the classic LANDSLIDE on t'other side)

+!. Not a duffer, in the lot! All top shelf, in my book! You'd think my love, of the foundation stuff, would make that Roland 12", the pick of the litter. But, it's that Earl Cunningham. Lord jesus, that fellow, laid down, some killer material! Cool
