My problem also, Marc.

I can't play music downstairs (except with headphones, which are to, at best, a necessary but uncomfortable evil) becauise the telly's always on and the loft - where there's the record collection and a couple of PCs - is full of stuff from the bedroom, which we are in the process of re-building, so that's not, very comfortable.

That leaves the car, which I'm never in for very long....

A good deal, if you're into that sort of thing.

Ironically, while I much (much) prefer to have the physical product - vinyl or CD - all my CDs are ripped to mp3 files on an external drive and backed up twice.

Ideal for making compilation mp3 CDs for the car Wink

Yea I've done that too before, if the songs are short enough you can get close to 100 tracks on one CD.

I got my dad's old car stereo in my car recently so I now just plug my iPod into it, so that's some 15000 reggae tracks at my fingertips

My preferred "order of service":

1. singles - 7s 10s and 12s
2. CD albums
3. MP3 CDs (mainly for the car)
4. LPs

I purposely put 45's as I thought that would cover 10" singles too... Surprised Wink
