Been listening to this CD from 2005 again:

http://www.discogs.com/Lyn-Taitt-The-Jets-Hold-Me-Tight-Anthology-65-73/release/3317004

54 tracks of glorious Rock Steady (well 52 really, as two are Reggae!)

Instrumentals on disc one and vocal tracks on disc two. Too many highlights to mention. If you haven't got it - get it!

Amazing CD - 10/10 from me (although I'm sure Mr. Peeper would disagree!).

I certainly agree on the overall quality of the album - which I haven't listened to in years.

I recall finding it a bit hard work to listen to all at once, I think that was because it seemed a bit easy-going or easy-listening or a bit MOR - not sure which of those or if it was some other reason.

I could see that.....I usually put those anthologies on when I'm busy with some kind of task....whether it's cleaning the house, cooking, or whatever....I find it makes tedious tasks...fun! Smile

Mr. Green True. But when you're a bachelor, and your rotation has been nothing but trouble(because they don't clean, cook, or "whatever"....solitude is a man's best friend at that point...well....solitude, and good music....and maybe some beer, and football. Wink

I'm rather keen on a few strings of Lyn Taitt:

The theme tune from a popular TV show - now what was it called? Rolling Eyes
