I'm pretty sure that Zimm and Dee Dee are Winston and Donna Dawson.

I just wondered why he would put himself under a group name - although oddly I did have it down by his name originally Confused He seemed to be a fan of double tracking his own voice, so perhaps it's that.

As for Zimm and Dee Dee, were you just confirming that it was Winston Francis and Donna Dawson Andy? This info came from the man from Addlestone incidentally.

Mr. Dalke, I presume?

I wonder what happened to him? ...if I remember one of my conversations with Ray, he seems to have "dropped off the radar".

No Marc - I wasn't aware that DD was Nelly. I thought they were different artists.

See this:

https://www.discogs.com/artist/956776-Donna-Dawson

I always thought 'Money Can't Buy My Love' was Ornell. Having just listened to YGAF, it's not her greatest effort. She's usually quite a strident vocalist but I don't find her so on this number.

I can remember a previous discussion now. I think it was agreed that Ornell's daughter was perhaps too young to be recording as Donna Dawson or Hinds.

Otherwise, apologies for the duff formatting. It's an old document which is getting longer and less manageable.

I only noticed Dandy's voice.

Yes. Definitely, another voice behind Dandy's. Sounds like two Dandy's, to me. Otherwise, could it be Des Riley? Smile

I've just been having quite a long (online) discussion with Eugene Paul. He has confirmed that all of Marc's pseudonyms are actually him:

Eugene Paul,
Boy Wonder (Attack),
Paul Cooke (Ackee),
Jimmy Shondell and Ingram Macaba (Ethnic Fight),
Paul Eugene (Ethnic),
Candy (Big Shot – ‘Ace of Hearts’),
Al Cook (Attack / Harry J ‘Frankie and Johnny’ / 'Keep Those Records Playing'),
William Brown (Ackee)

There are probably more, but he hasn't offered them (or he's forgotten them).

Thanks Andy.

As you probably picked up from Pama, Marcus saw Eugene only the other week and asked him to ID one of the interviewees in the 1970 Reggae film (not much luck there). Shame I never managed to link up with him.
