Twas "Hit Me Back". Great toasting, on that. I was immediately taken, to the scene, where we see Buster, in "THTC", when Ivan is trying to flog his 45, without Hilton's support. Or was it Hylton? Smile

Had you played it before? It didn't ring any bells, though, my memory ain't the best, anymore. Too many hits, upon the ol' noggin', when I was young. Stupid. And, brash. Or was it rash? Rolling Eyes

Just had a rummage and it appears I have the same pairing on FAB and JA Prince Buster labels. With different titles of course! Rolling Eyes
The 45 I played last week was the FAB issue Hit Me Back b/w Give Peace A Chance. However on the JA issue they're titled Sounds Almighty b/w Pressure Proof, which I think I've played out before.... Surprised Wink

PRESSURE PROOF = GIVE PEACE A CHANCE Exclamation Question

Whereas SOUNDS ALMIGHTY is a believable re-titling of SHOCKS OF MIGHTY...

I've heard the "GPAC". At the time, I didn't realise, it was the flip, to "HMB".....I prefer "HMB", by far! Cool

It's Charlotte ~ BANAKE, Marc and from about 1985 or 1986 - over the "Lecture" rhythm - on the "Real Authentic Sound of Studio One" label - I recall reading that it only came on a 12", at least in the UK, though I don't know if that's true.

At last.. A Reggae night in Reading (Caversham actually) with myself and Martin Weller on the decks. Jim Donovan is responsible for getting this night up and running and he'll also be spinning tunes as and when time allows.
The pub has an amazing selection of Real Ales, with guest ales added regularly. Walking distance to Reading Station too... Wink

The very first post in this thread (Sep-01-2015).

Great to know the night is still going and still "going strong" (session 31 soon come!) and very pleased to have been a part of it and to have been helping Pete...
