A couple are tempting, but whether I will or not.
Twas only recently that I bought ALCATRAZ - and I usually find "alternate takes" not that interesting...and "unreleased take/mix" were unreleased probably for the simple reason that they weren't as good as the version that was released. _________________ Play it nice and cool, son. Nice and cool! You know what I mean.

Bless him, and the Japanese. They do re-issues like JG did. _________________ It seems that our brave new world is becoming less tolerant, spiritual and educated than it ever was when I was young.

http://fareastrecords.shop-pro.jp/?pid=113587455 | An outstanding selection. "Pink Champagne" being the pick of the litter. As for the unknown Ska duo....I've heard those voices before, & they were clearly identified. However, my memory is drawing a blank, as to their identities.....Though, Shenley Duffus is ringing a bell. However, I don't think it's him on the latter.....Close though. Regardless, I've heard the duo, & at some point, will remember their names......

I wonder if Mark Lamarr would be able to shed light on this? _________________ It seems that our brave new world is becoming less tolerant, spiritual and educated than it ever was when I was young.

YOU CAN DEPEND ON ME is one of those easy going "Standard" type of tunes that never do much for me.
PINK CHAMPAGNE is worth enjoying in its entirety:

The second of your links didn't work, Doc old chap - what was it? |
Spot on with posting "PC".....
My second link, was the "unknown duo", in its entirety. They had another two up.....I hope one works:

The singers sound a bit like the Schoolboys...

...trouble is, since I don't know who the Schoolboys were, if it were them, I'm still not really any wiser! |
Nice one, Top Kick! The Schoolboys were a young Winston Mathews, & Colin Johnson. I'm sure you'll recognise Winston's name....They also call 'im "Pipe" Mathews.....
A decent number of offerings, from the two, I might add.....There's a "Reggae" group, with the same name.....Different personnel, featuring Jacob Miller. _________________ It seems that our brave new world is becoming less tolerant, spiritual and educated than it ever was when I was young.
