Looking for a copy of 'Don't Stay Away' - any pressing except the recent reissue.

Not the Phyllis Dillon of course, but Peckings put out a version:

My favourite use of the rhythm is Luciano's RUNNING FOR MY LIFE:

Thanks Andy.

I think I only have it on a couple of CDs, and it's a particular favourite (the wife likes it too).

Sorry to have hijacked, but DON'T STAY AWAY is on such a wonderful rhythm...

JA pressings are the one to go for. Coxson released a US pressed version, which isn't too hard to come by, but go for silly prices, or so it seems.

Waiting for a copy of the later Treasure Isle pressing (DR4/TIS 267) to land:

https://www.discogs.com/Phyllis-Dillon-Lynn-Taitt-With-Tommy-McCook-The-Supersonics-Upsetters-Tommy-McCook-The-Supersonics-D/release/5029485

Out of interest, can anyone say when this pressing came out? Of course, as it is with Discogs the one pictured in the scan probably isn't what one gets!

Well done Marc.

It's possibly a 1969 press:

Thanks Andy.

While I still forget occasionally (like this time), I am actually making increasing use of 45Cat, particularly in revising my Trojan and subsidiary label 45s discographies - a long overdue work-in-progress. It's an excellent resource, and all credit to you for your work on it.

Cheers Marc.

I doubt I'll complete it in my lifetime!
