The most interesting thing I picked up was this UK album from c1975:

https://www.discogs.com/Dennis-Alcapone-Skin-Flesh-And-Bones-Pablo-Calling-1000-Dreadlocks/release/4627805

Allegedly only 500 copies of this album were pressed.

Interesting indeed Andy - not one I knew about and one I'd like to have (more so as it's clearly not a Dub album). I don't imagine Chris gave this one away! I'll give it a listen later.

Duke started at £60, but I eventually picked it up for £35.

Chris gave the final discount, not knowing how much I had knocked Duke down by! Wink

That's a list of folks I know, and those I have no idea about....You should post a few of the tunes, down the road, Joe. Throwing a dart in the dark, it looks like you run the gamut, from the 60's, on through, to recent sounds....UK, & JA productions, at that! Smile

Boston Jack. I believe he records a few tunes, that were released on Bamboo.....Drawing a blank, as to the vocal group, he used as harmony singers..... Embarrassed

Great stuff. The pick of the litter, has to be that Rad Bryan, for me. Not that the others, are slouches, or lesser in quality.....You just don't get to hear that Rad Bryan tune, as often as the others....

As for the Bruce Turner.......Wow! Marc just introduced you, to one of the more interesting figures, in British Jazz. His music is legendary to a select few, who 'get it'. Turner's life, would make an interesting movie. The Birmingham Town Hall incident itself, would come off, as comedic, for most of us, as things were so much more rigid, back then.....For better, or worse....But hey, it's trad, dad. Wink

Here's the Rad Bryan:

It's from 1975.

...and the Carol Kalphat:

One that'd been in the back of my mind or somewhere for ages!

...and finally Esther, here's Winston Reedy's take on DOOR PEEPER:
