Here's a lovely obscure little album from 1979, that I've just 'discovered'!

The full album for your delight. My favourites are 'Keep In Touch', 'Behold', 'Jah Melody', 'Born Jamaican', 'If You Want To Be Happy' and 'Forget Me Not'. Even with the few Soul/Disco outings, I think the whole album hangs together really well.

A very tidy collection, of tunes. Wink

They are all about this tiny island -which is more than just a beach- .

So if you were hoping to hear something, about Jamaica, Virginia, or Jamaica, NY.....Sorry, you're out of luck. Wink

On a serious note, I wonder how many Dutch, got turned onto, Reggae thanks to this LP? Great, from start to finish!

The Browne Bunch, released some good stuff! A shame, they weren't more prolific!

Then, there's The Sound Studio. Nice, uptown, breezy Reggae sounds, a la Geoff Chung.

Great stuff, Andy! An LP, that would be nice, to have re-issued. Even if, it has to be paired up, with another LP.

Smile

I spotted the Browne Bunch tracks on your playlist Andy but didn't immediately pick up that they were from this album. I'll try and grab a listen.

It's 50 minutes long, so just a few bonus tracks would suffice.

This is my favourite, by them:

"Something Silly", the flip to "Fun For All". It's not Reggae, just a good laid back Soul groover, perfect for relaxing, to.

It'd be nice, if it were possible to get the Chung's to compile a set, featuring all of the tracks, the Browne Bunch, cut with them. They released some very high quality material! Smile

All of those Browne Bunch tracks, would me suffice, I reckon. They'd fit right in, with this Chung heavy set. Some of those Black Wax 45's, wouldn't hurt, either. Smile
