Interesting, though neither was my cuppa. I did find it, very amusing, they used the font, they did, for "Rocksteady Records". I normally associate it, with "The Man Who Fell To Earth", or Metalheads, Iron Maiden! _________________ It seems that our brave new world is becoming less tolerant, spiritual and educated than it ever was when I was young.

Neither not really my cuppa also, although there were far, far worse attempts.
Yes that label font definitely with a "Metal" look and feel about it!
I never knew Eddie Grant wrote ROUGH RIDER, nothing on the label:

...but he could only have been about 20 at the time and is it really his style of lyric and would it have been written by one so young? ...don't think so. _________________ Play it nice and cool, son. Nice and cool! You know what I mean.

I've never listened to the Grant version of RR - I'll remedy that shortly. To be honest, I didn't know it existed until probably 20 years ago and always thought it was a cover version (but it must have pre-dated the Buster by at least a coupla months). |

If anyone thinks, the Four Gees original is better. I want a dissertation, on my desk, by Friday, giving the evidence, as to why. _________________ It seems that our brave new world is becoming less tolerant, spiritual and educated than it ever was when I was young.
