This one's for Marc. I'm sure we've discussed this track before, but I'm damned if I can find it!

Sounding very much like a female. Rox and I have come up with the possibility that 'Philip' could in fact be Phillipa from The S.P.M. (aka St. Andrew's Girls Choir).

From their (sole?) album:

"Once upon a time, three little girls looked at a star in the left hand corner of the sky. "Let's reach it!" they cried. So, when the sun came up (the moon went down naturally), the daylight revealed a beautiful tree with ripe avocado pears dripping of the branches. And further up the hill, just a little way off was their star (the one in the left hand corner of etc.....)
Immediately they began running towards it, and as they approached, the star steadily grew brighter.....

The three girls, Sydne, Phillipa and Mary-Ann - S.P.M., started out as a schoolgirl trio (school functions - suppers, concerts and all the rest of that jazz), graduated to hotel and night-club appearances, while at the same time establishing themselves as one of the most sought-after back-up groups. With all that talent and so much potential, it was only natural for S.P.M. to make an album.

The girls were young, I was young (hence young ideas), we got along well (long-time friends), so the top brass up in their air-conditioned offices at Dynamic decided that the logical thing was for us to get together.

So we all got together and experimented a bit, sang a lot, quarreled some, and worked hard because we wanted it to be good."
