Reggae promoter and manager, and 50% of producer 'Bruce Anthony' (with Tony Cousins):

To me, he seems to quite an unsung figure in the Reggae world. Probably because a lot of their productions were very light and fluffy, but I grew up with many of these tracks.

Productions include:

'All For You' by The Pyramids would probably have to be my favourite:

His co-productions didn't feel quite right at the time...because they were British of course. Nevertheless, I would buy them back then purely on the basis of liking them (and having the money to pay for them!), rather than buying them because they were by an artist, on a label, out of a studio or from a particular producer - although I have done a bit of all those as well. One of the better efforts, by the Pyramids. Wink

My two favourite Bruce Anthony productions, would have to be, "Telstar" and, "Sing A Little Song".

"Telstar"

"Sing A Little Song"

And, "Geronimo", mentioned by the Sheikh, is another top effort, too.

Aye, that it was - came out on Duke first, then the "main" Trojan label as it was on the rise...
