Picked up a cheap copy of this recently, largely as it's one of the few TBLs from the period I don't have. Bar a couple of tracks ('Poor Little Willie' is a bit of a clunker, as is 'Going To The Circus'), it's actually quite ok and has some of those arrangements used on late `60s Pop 45s that I particularly like.
What I did wonder about was the uncredited male voice on 'Melting Pot'. Anyone know who it was?
And did I mention I quite like the sleeve |

Indeed. And I don't think it's Roy Ellis either. |

I've had the LP years and often wondered who the male was on Melting Pot', I just presumed it was one of Symarip.
'Enoch Power' is a standout track (yes, I know it came out on 45) and I also like 'White Boys'...... "white boys are so pretty, skin as smooth as milk, white boys are so pretty, hair like China silk"....wonder if she's talking about Skinheads? _________________ Skinhead 1979 |

Haven't played that one, in yonks. Fairly good, IIRC. As for "MP", I reckon it's Monty Neysmith. _________________ It seems that our brave new world is becoming less tolerant, spiritual and educated than it ever was when I was young.
