Yes - picked this new up late yesterday. Very sad. I don't believe she ever sang in English, unlike Francoise Hardy, so like Johnny Halliday her audience remained pretty much confined to Francophone countries.

A shame, as she'd only just turned 70, a few months back. Wish she'd been able, to make a bigger dent, in the Pop world, outside France. She had that charm, the girl groups/singers, of the early '60's, which was sorely lacking, in UK/US pop, post 1964.

I hope she rests well. For me, it was always lovely, seeing the punters, at "French Pop" night, hearing her, for the first time, and wanting to know, who she was.
