I couldn't spot this on YT so added it earlier. Audrey's (failed) attempt at crossing over into the Pop market.

And the Jazzy b side, with a hint of Jethro Tull and Reggae! - M.Y.O.B. Leave Me Alone:

A decent enough song - sounds vaguely familiar, I'm wondering if I heard it on something like Radio Luxembourg (or whatever) back then...

Thanks for posting Andy - I'd searched for it in vain on YT and have already been seeking out the single for years without success. A couple of pleasant sides, and I have something else on Trend which is pretty good. And she looks a bit like Carrol Thompson on the picture sleeve dont'cha think?

And on the subject of the picture sleeve, I was reminded of the cover for 'Rock Steady With Dandy' and thought it might be her on that, in which case Dandy's association with her looks to go back a good year before the Down Town 45s.

I prefer the a-side. But, the synopsis of the b-side, I like the best. Spot on! Laughing

Mr Livingstone has advised that it's not Audrey on the cover. Sadly, yet again, we don't have a name.

I don't know, Andy. She looks like the lass, from the covers, of these Audrey offerings:

Thanks Andy - it was an uneducated guess on my part, but I noticed a resemblance with the images on the sleeve of the 'I Need You' album.

I'm not so sure, you didn't throw a dart, in the dark, and hit bullseye, Marc.

She looks like a younger, version, of the gal on the '71 45:

I wonder if Dandy hasn't seen Audrey, since they worked together, and the memory is.....foggy. Wink

In any sense, I wouldn't mind seeing "I Need You", reissued, with another Dandy LP. "Your Musical Doctor" perhaps? Smile

Here are Dandy's responses to my question about the Rock Steady cover:

Andy, girl came for photo shoot, did her thing and left...... me probably had a practice in the nets...talking about cricket my sport...used to play a lot.

That was before Audrey.

That's odd. I swear, it looks like the same model/girl/Audrey to me, in all of those photos. Confused
