Yes, but:

1) Who pays the mortgage?
2) The wife shouldn't be in the living room....her place is in the kitchen and scullery Mr. Green

This one is the stumbling block in our house! Rolling Eyes Surprised

You can insist that this is your domain, since you've given Mrs. S. the opportunity to be able to pay it?

...or some other hopeless reasoning Wink

Come on folks - we need some more thoughts on this, otherwise it won't happen.

At least let us know that it's a daft idea (if you think it is).

Thanks lads and lasses Smile

Joe, my choices would be Tighten Up Vol 3 (The poster inside) and Tighten Up Vol 6 (the girl with the snake).
I like the idea!

In theory an 18"x18" canvas would be nice, but most likely I wouldn't buy one because I can't imagine they'd sell it for a price I'd be willing to pay (10 tops), plus the WAC (wife acceptance factor) would be fairly low.

been following the thread , and searching t'webby ting for a style of print i've seen a few times [ and like muchly] - to no avail .

So - to try and describe it - a print made up of a collage of Blue Note album covers , in strict rows - fascinating to look at , and attempt to figure out which ones i know ......

the other one would be album covers in 'real size' , it could be built up along a wall over time [as monies allow] .....

how much would each be worth [to me] - albums 15ish , Montage 30ish

I just had an 8ftx2ft PVC banner made for my band, and the quality is absolutely superb, the reproduction from my artwork could not be faulted.
So I would like to go right over the top and have 16 LPs on one. They have little eyelets top and bottom so they can be hung up.
When I'm flush, I might have one made for myself.
Now what 16 would I have?????????????

Always liked this LP, and play it fairly regularly... The cover is yet another classic by Dave Field....

Anyone know anything about him?

I think it was the B&C link that swayed me.

It does remind me of a long buried memory of mine from about 1971. Back then, the brother of a (vague) friend of mine in Bedford, used to bring home sheets of blank Trojan labels. I remember him once giving me a sheet of Dynamic labels!

I can't remember his name, but I can recall him saying that he designed the brown Trojan label. As he had access to the sheets of labels, I assume he must have worked for the designers/printers, but I'd love to find out more to see if there is any truth in that story!

I've certainly got room for a nice canvas on my wall. I like the montage idea as per the Blue Note one.
